What Goes Around Comes Around

I believe without a doubt, what goes around...comes around. If you dish it out, you better be ready to take it. Perfect example:

I was at the bar this weekend. I was the DD, so I wasn't drinking. My friends and I were all dancing and having a good time and I had to use the restroom, so I left them on the dance floor. (Side note: they should have 3 women's restrooms for every man's restroom. Just putting that idea out there.) Anyway..I was on my way back and I walked by this guy who was 3 sheets to the wind.

So I walk by this guy and he reaches out and grabs me, not just touch but Grab! I don't care if you are drunk or not, there is no excuse for that. So I turned around and got in his face and told him to never do that again (there was a few expletives in there that I won't type). So he let me go and acted shocked (as shocked as a drunk man can get) that I reacted that way. Because clearly any woman in the bar wants to be pawed by every man they walk by.

So here comes the Karma part of the story. He gets up to walk right after that and slipped in someones spilled drink. Well he is drunk so down he goes like a ton of bricks, flat on his back. The best part is that he had a full drink in his hand that he spilled on himself as he was falling.

I may sound like a horrible person, but I pointed and laughed hysterically!! So in conclusion...What goes around comes around! Hahahaha

Another Tour of Duty

I just found out this morning that my husband is going to be sent back to Iraq. He is in the National Guard. He was in Iraq a few years back and that was one of the hardest things I have been through. He is getting shipped back overseas in 2012. I am so proud of him. So I will be blogging a lot more about the Army and being an Army wife. I always appreciate comments and you should definitely follow my blog, it will be fun times!! So I am gonna close with this....

When the good Lord was creating Wives, he was into his sixth day of overtime.
An angel appeared and said, "You're having a lot of trouble with this one. What's wrong with the standard model?"
And the Lord replied, "Have you seen the specs on this order? She has to be completely independent, but must be sponsored to get on post; have the qualities of both father and mother during deployments; be a perfect hostess to 4 or 40; run on black coffee; handle emergencies without a manual; be able to handle flu, birthdays and moves around the world; have a kiss that can cure anything from a child's torn Valentine to a husband's weary day; have the patience of a saint when waiting for the Unit to return home; and have six pairs of hands."

The angel shook her hand slowly and said, "Six pairs of hands... no way!"
And the Lord answered, "Don't worry, we'll make other military wives to help. Besides it's not the hands that are causing the problem, it's the heart. It must swell with pride in her husband, sustain the ache of separations, beat on soundly when it's too tired to do so and be large enough to say, "I Understand" when she doesn't, and 'I love you' regardless."
"Lord," said the angel, touching his sleeve gently. "Come to bed... finish this tomorrow!"

"I can't," said the Lord. "I'm so close to creating something unique. Already I have one who heals herself when she's sick, can feed three unexpected guests who are stuck in the area due to bad weather, and can wave good-bye to her husband, from a pier, off a runway and understand that it is important to his country that he leaves."
The angel circled the model of the military wife very slowly. "It's too soft," she sighed.

"But tough," said the Lord excitedly. "You cannot imagine what this woman can do or endure."
"Can it think?"
"Can it think? It can convert 1400 to 2 p.m."

Finally, the angel bent over and ran her finger across the cheek. "There's a leak," she pronounced. "I told you that you were trying to put too much into this model."
"It's not a leak," said the Lord. "It's a tear."

"What's it for?" asked the angel.
"It's for joy. Sadness. Disappointment. Pain, loneliness and pride!"
"You are a genius," sighed the angel.

The Lord looked somber and replied, "I didn't put it there."

Just one of them days...

Sooo...a few weeks ago, my boss and I got into it big time. I have been at this job for over 4 years and he treats me like I am in Kindergarten. I finally reached my limit and we started yelling at each other. So he called me in his office and told me that I need to work on my attitude and that is why I haven't gotten a raise in over a year and why I am not going to get a raise...ugh. Well I was mad, but I can handle that because that is my fault for having a short temper.

Now to today. He calls me in his office and this is sorta how it went:

Boss: I just wanted to tell you that your attitude has improved tremendously.

Me: Thanks!!! (thinking: maybe I will get a raise)

Boss: You haven't been slamming the phone or getting aggravated and I think you are doing a really good job.

Me: Thanks!! (thinking: OK get on with it already!!)

Boss: BUT...you talk really loud when you are on the phone. I know I do this too and this is something we both need to work on.

Me: Huh? (thinking: What the Fuck! I am getting in trouble for my volume!)

Boss: Yeah that is something you really need to work on. You are the only one out of the girls that I can always here talking on the phone.

Me: thinking: (Yeah douche bag, probably because I am the ONLY one that sits 2 feet from your office)

Boss: Other than that, keep up the good work. Just try to talk quieter when you are on the phone.

Me: Ok, sure. (thinking: AAAAHHHHHHHHH!! Why me?)

So in conclusion...I am still not getting a raise. I love all the lame excuses they come up with so they can pay me this crappy amount to do a job that I should be making hella more for. I am naturally a loud person. I talk loud and laugh loud. I generally live my whole life out loud and I love the way I am.

Comments are always welcome and you could also follow me to...that would be fantastic.

Prison vs. Work

Just in case you ever got these two mixed up, This should make things a bit more clear....

IN PRISON you spend the majority of your time in an 8X10 cell.
AT WORK you spend the majority of your time in a 6X8 cubicle.

IN PRISON you get three meals a day.
AT WORK you only get a break for one meal and you pay for it.

IN PRISON you get time off for good behavior.
AT WORK you get more work for good behavior.

IN PRISON the guard locks and unlocks all the doors for you.
AT WORK you must carry around a security card and open all the doors for yourself.

IN PRISON you can watch TV and play games.
AT WORK you get fired for watching TV and playing games.

IN PRISON you get your own toilet.
AT WORK you have to share with some idiot who pees on the toilet.

IN PRISON they allow your family and friends to visit.
AT WORK you can't speak to your family.

IN PRISON all expenses are paid by the taxpayers with no work required.
AT WORK you get to pay all the expenses to go to work and then they deduct taxes from your salary to pay for prisoners.

IN PRISON you spend most of your life inside bars wanting to get out.
AT WORK you spend most of your time wanting to get out and go inside bars.

IN PRISON you must deal with sadistic wardens.
AT WORK they are called managers
